Hey there- I'm afraid that was one of the first things I tried. I've just installed 10.5 on an external usb drive (using it right now actually) just to see that the bleedin' ting works at all! Do you guys maintain a wiki? [UPDATE] Well, its a real shame.
Solar Eclipse Maestro is the most versatile and feature-rich application for solar eclipses. It can handle any solar eclipse, provide you Baily’s beads preview and animation, simulate an all-sky view or weather statistics, and a lot more. Sneaking in a few days before its promised September release, the tune-up for Mac OS X Leopard costs $29 for current Leopard users, and packs just enough punch to be worth your money. Apple is careful to point out that Snow Leopard isn't a complete system overhaul.
No success in Eclipse Galileo Carbon on Leopard 10.5.8- again bluetooth and usb working from terminal. But the Eclipse Plugin is not working for me. Where is the source code for the plugin?
I really think that there is too much configuration going on for the plugin to be useful on mac. I don't dispute that it works for some, but IMHO, but it appears to be too special case for my liking. It really appears to be all about the classpath. And then I logged in to my Snow Leopard account, fired up 64 bit Cocoa Eclipse and connected to the brick via bluetooth! There are some problems (like an apparent caching issue) and quite a few crashes. Ironically, while USB cannot be used by the eclipse plugin and bluetooth can, from terminal, USB works but bluetooth does not!
